Its total abandonment of rationality meditated at the expense of a primitive and savage "instinctive" animal contrasts sharply with the rigidity and rules of the surrounding society and are a recurring motif that creates a hilarious comic effect. Here you find the hotel waiting for Rosie, un'impacciata CIA agent who would help him in the company. Soon Bond realizes that it works in the pay of Kananga. Tom Mankiewitcz The script is built with a wise use of exotic locations, at such securities Thunderball and You Only Live Twice , and some breathtaking chase. On the latter's veteran director Guy Hamilton, the director of what he called in Goldfinger incontrovertibly the Bond-movie formula.

Production, burned by the failure of Her Majesty's Secret Service with George Lazenby, decide not to invest too much on the film to avoid fiascos, to gauge public appreciation of the new Bond. Moore's debut is to be welcomed with receipts amounting to 126 million dollars, a figure which has considerable time, especially considering the production cost of $ 7 million.
Live and Let Die is one of the best films of Moore, and one of the most compelling of the series, in my humble opinion, underrated. It 'probably the most negative reviews are due to the fact that this film marks the final closure of the cycle that the actual quality of the Connery films.


BAD

Kananga - Mr. Big (Yaphet Kotto), Yaphet Kotto plays two

Anyone who still special The doubts unpublished Hemingway is the confirmation that the publishing house run by Massimo Coppola is one of the most important Italian literary industry today. unpublished Hemingway, for example, is a wonderful prose that slips melted away like a cool ice cream on a hot summer day. The smoothness of the narrative and the use of a popular lexicon (without being vulgar) are characteristics that the author, David Belbin, it certainly brings back the past in fiction lucky to boys (successful works as The manufacturers of fog and Elegy), set aside for the victorious landing literature for adults. Not fully inserted in the harsh world of adults are actually faced with a work "in between", which keeps an eye on the privileged adolescence from which the main character, Mark Trace, comes gradually and almost unconsciously, gradually reaching the ' empowerment work, the first sexual adventure and the ability to deceive others. All this, however, unable to assume the status of regular life according to the canons of bourgeois morality, even while keeping intact the capacity to be guided by its largest dream of becoming a writer. A short novel of formation, which unravels from poor provincial journals, meetings with emancipated women and girls are a beginner, budding writers and former editors of doubt happened homosexuals. But above all, their triumph: the classics of the twentieth century, those great authors who are not yet historical closeness as they should be studied by universities, and the size of which is the subject of dispute among critics of dubious reliability.
Mark dreams of becoming one of them, but his talent seems to consist solely in being able to perfectly imitate the style of various authors.
